In Objective
My name is Jiseok Liew who had just completed the PhD work at Oregon State University in EECS department and I have done research involving multi-dimensional digital signal processing and image processing algorithms as part of my research and coursework with Dr.Marple (Professor in EECS department with research interests in sensor signal processing http://eecs.oregonstate.edu/research/members/marple).
I have been designed and developed the DSP algorithms in MATLAB and C++ needed in my research and in other courses as a research and teaching assistant. Some of the works include developing over 20 subroutines for multi-dimensional digital signal processing tool kits and creating a unique MATLAB animation as part of my thesis. I also have programming experience in Java and Pearl. I have designed and developed the DSP software for the spectral analysis, the biosensor acquiring visual images (MATLAB, C++ and Java), 2-D image processing tools (MATLAB and Visual C++), and web-based distributed application for remote access and control (MATLAB Web server tool box/Java/XML/PERL).
Technical and Language Skills
Experience in development and implementation of Digital Signal Processing algorithms using new Multi-dimensional Signal Sharpening Technique and Spectral Analysis for Target Recognition Application.
